Author guidelines

Use these draft guidelines to prepare your own research. They are not an invitation to submit: manuscript intake remains closed while the journal is being established.

Proposed draft · Awaiting editorial approval

Manuscript format

Prepare an editable Word document on A4 paper with 1-inch margins, Times New Roman 12-point type and single line spacing. Use bold, unnumbered, title-case headings and APA 7 references. JEL codes are not mandatory for this social sciences journal.

  • Suggested maximum: 5,000 words including references. An editor may approve a justified exception once editorial operations begin.
  • Keep tables and figures legible, place them near their first discussion and provide clear captions. State permissions for material reproduced or adapted from other sources.
  • Use genuine quotations and references. Verify bibliographic details, quotations, source links and DOIs where they actually exist.

Structured abstract & keywords

The proposed abstract limit is 200 words in total. Use the following labels: Purpose; Design/Methodology/Approach; Findings; Implications/Originality/Value. Report only what your study genuinely supports. Add 3–5 descriptive keywords.

Separate author/title page

Provide the manuscript title, author names and affiliations, the designated corresponding author and optional ORCID identifiers. Include contributions, funding, conflicts of interest, ethics approval where applicable, informed consent and a data availability statement. Author order and contributions should be agreed by all authors.

Anonymous main manuscript

Exclude names, affiliations, acknowledgments and other identifying information from the main manuscript. Check headers, tracked changes, comments and document file properties. Use neutral descriptions of self-citations where needed without distorting the record; keep identifying ethics details on the separate title page for confidential editorial assessment.

Methods, ethics & reporting

Describe your design, sampling, measures, analysis and limitations clearly enough for informed appraisal. Document ethics and consent requirements, including additional safeguards for minors, vulnerable participants and sensitive data. Do not share identifiable participant data in a manuscript or supplement without a lawful and ethical basis.

Templates & next step

Download the proposed Word templates below. The anonymous manuscript template opens with an instruction page that should be deleted before use; author details belong only in the separate author and title-page template. Review the proposed policies and submission status before preparing a final manuscript.
